CORE COMPETENCIES
- 5+ years of professional experience in business intelligence and data warehousing
- 5+ years of current Cognos Report development experience is a must (client environment is Cognos 10).
- Deep knowledge of Oracle and SQL is a must.
- Development of List, cross tab, drill through, master-detail, chart, Active reports andcomplex reports with multiple Prompts in Report Studio.
- Design, Develop, Test and Deploy Report
- Cognos 10 / Cognos Analytics Report Studio
- Cascading prompts
- Report Views
- Scheduling & email distribution
- File System distribution
- Excel & PDF report formatting
- Drill-down / drill-through report development
- Impromptu Reporting Writing
- Oracle SQL

- Report tuning (review of SQL for optimization)
- Ability to communicate with the end users to review the new Cognos output or review the existing reports
